Now Offering Digital Marketing Capabilities to Independent Agents and Brokers
Project CAP has announced the arrival of more ammunition for agents looking to compete in the personal lines insurance marketplace. Earlier this week, the organization announced its newest offerings – an array of agent digital marketing products aimed at increasing the independent insurance agents’ online capabilities.
Digital marketing products are offered to agents either as a self-directed insurance marketing program, available in three different levels (Bronze, Silver or Gold), or a full-service insurance marketing option offered either at the Platinum or Diamond levels.
“Project CAP’s digital marketing programs are built on the four pillars of education, tools, content and services,” explained Scott Deetz, CEO of Project CAP. “Agents can choose from an array of programs. Within the first 60 days of introduction, more than 700 agencies have enrolled and chosen specific insurance marketing programs based on their individual levels of expertise and needs. Some agents are adding these products to their existing marketing mix on a ‘do-it-yourself’ basis. Others are choosing to have professional services done for them by the Project CAP team.”
Begun in 2011, Project CAP was created by an alliance of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA), Trusted Choice, state associations and six insurance carriers (The Central Companies, Safeco Insurance, The Main Street America Group, Selective Insurance Company of America, State Auto Insurance Companies and Westfield Insurance). Their mission is to help independent agencies, brokers and agents build their online brands and visibility in order to maintain a viable presence within the personal lines insurance marketplace.
As Bob Rusbuldt, President of the IIABA states on the Project CAP website,” The status quo in personal lines is no longer acceptable for independent agencies. We’re leaving a lot of good business on the table because consumers cannot find us online. But that ends now. Project CAP is helping independent agents recapture market share by providing the means and opportunity to do business the way our consumers want to do business.”
