Mr. Leffard has been building and leading professional liability businesses for the past 25 years
The Hanover has announced that Greg Leffard has joined the company as its new president of The Hanover Professional Portfolio, the division responsible for handling all of the insurer’s E&O businesses. The Hanover’s Professional Portfolio offers professional liability as well as errors and omissions solutions for small to mid-sized firms including a broad range of professional, technical and business industries.

Leffard comes to The Hanover from The Hartford, where he was most recently a vice president in the company’s financial products division with responsibility for professional liability. Prior to his nine years with The Hartford, Mr. Leffard held a number of underwriting, claims and business management positions including Managing Vice President with Travelers Insurance. Mr. Leffard is also a licensed attorney and worked in private practice as an insurance defense attorney.
A graduate of the University of South Alabama, Mr. Leffard obtained his MBA in Management from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and his J.D. from the Western New England College School of Law. He holds both the CPCU and ARM insurance designations.
