SignOn Once, the federated identity system created to promote better efficiency, security and identity management in the insurance industry has announced three new appointments to its Board of Directors this month. Of the three new Board of Directors members, one hails from Massachusetts. With this latest appointment, three of the 11 of SignOn Once’s Board of Directors are from the Massachusetts insurance industry.
Danny Blood is the CTO & Chief Engineer at Boston Software
Mr. Blood has spent his entire professional career within the insurance industry as a technologist dedicated to designing, developing and leading software projects. Beginning his career with Agency One, he has been the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Engineer at Boston Software since 1997.
An expert in software development, agency-carrier interface, independent agency workflows, real-time rating and data integration, he is also an ACORD Certified Expert (ACE) for Property and Casualty, leverageing ACORD data standards for more than 20 years.
The other two new individuals joining Mr. Blood on SignOn Once’s Board of Directors are Andrew Martin and Peggy Mongar. Mr. Martin , is a Vice President, IT Applications Insurance Finance & Distribution, for Liberty Mutual in Seattle. Ms. Mongar is a Marketing Consultant with EMC Insurance Companies.
