XS Brokers Hires Peter Buccinna to Head New York Territory
This is the Firm’s Fourth Office Expansion in the Past Year
XS Brokers, one of the largest independent insurance brokerages in New England, announced today the hiring of Peter Buccinna to head a new local office for the firm in East Chatham, New York. The hiring of Buccinna as Assistant Vice President, Business Development Manager, recognizes the firm’s rapid growth due to increased demand for its services. The firm now has six offices: NY plus PA, CT, FL and two locations in MA. This is XS Brokers’ fourth office expansion within the past year. “There is a tremendous amount of growth opportunity in this region,” stated Adam Devine. CEO. “We are thrilled to have Peter join us, servicing our existing retail agency clients as well as new ones in this region.”
Peter’s responsibilities will include the representation and promotion of XS Brokers services throughout the New York territory, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with agents and brokers in this region. “Peter’s background includes over 17 years of insurance experience handling all aspects of prospective broker identification, new broker appointments, and broker development,” stated Mike McKinley, Chief Sales Officer. “He is a valuable addition to our team.”
Buccinna’s most recent professional experience was as Business Development Manager of Westchester, a Chubb Company where he managed all aspects of marketing and distribution of the entire Westchester wholesale exclusive products in the Boston Region. Prior to that, he was Marketing Manager of LoVullo Associates in Buffalo NY for seven years where he coordinated all marketing efforts and maintained a high level of visibility in the territory. He also had stints at both AIG and Marsh, from maintaining relationships for construction accounts to overseeing high profile clients in the Private Client Services group.
Peter has his B.S. Business Management from State University of New York at Stony Brook and is a Licensed New York State Insurance Broker.

Kim Walker, Brendan Carr Join A.I.M. Mutual’s Injury Prevention Team
Kim Walker and Brendan Carr have joined A.I.M. Mutual Insurance Companies’ injury prevention consulting team in New Hampshire. Both Kim and Brendan have worked extensively in the loss control and safety fields, most recently for The Lawson Group in Concord, New Hampshire.
Kim Walker has more than 20 years of risk management and health & safety experience, specializing in a number of industries including healthcare, manufacturing, restaurants, educational institutions, and human service agencies. For the past 10 years, she has been a Loss Prevention Consultant advising New Hampshire employers on risk reduction strategies. She joined A.I.M. Mutual July 10.
Brendan Carr brings more than 15 years of experience in the loss control and occupational safety consulting fields to A.I.M. Mutual. He has worked directly with management and front-line workers to actively promote safety practices in manufacturing, construction, hospitality and forestry-related environments as well as other Granite state industries. He joined A.I.M. Mutual April 24.
Both Kim and Brendan are Injury Prevention & Worksite Wellness Consultants serving A.I.M. Mutual policyholders in New Hampshire as well as in Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Boston-based commercial insurance veteran to service growing portfolio of middle market clients amid significant regional expansion
The Boston office of Alliant is adding one of the region’s foremost middle market insurance experts to its growing roster of insurance leaders in Phil Bean. As Senior Vice President within the company’s Alliant Americas division, Bean will provide targeted risk management and insurance solutions to clients throughout the Northeast as Alliant continues to bolster its presence in this key strategic region.

Bean is known throughout the industry for his ability to deliver sound, measurable results that reduce clients’ total cost of risk and human capital. The 23-year commercial insurance veteran joins Alliant with experience handling risks in a broad array of industries, including life sciences, technology, food and beverage, agribusiness, manufacturing, and distribution.
Prior to joining Alliant, Bean was Senior Vice President within the Boston office of a large, national insurance brokerage firm, where he focused on new business development and the strategic delivery of services and solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients.
