G.H. Dunn Insurance Agency is looking for a full time Personal Lines Account Manager. Flexible hours, salary plus commission, incentives and a comprehensive benefits program, including health insurance, for qualifying candidates. Two years experience required.
The Account Manager is an integral link in the business relationship that is created by our agency, our customers and the companies we represent. Our customers rely on the Account Manager to explain, select and place their insurance coverage.
-Utilize marketing tools and resources to generate new business.
-Actively develop, plan and prioritize account sales by account rounding for existing customers & soliciting additional policy sales in a manner consistent with agency marketing plans.
-Underwrite and place individual risk situations to ensure they meet our agency’s standards and those of the companies we represent.
-Provide superior service to existing & prospective customers.
-Maintain individual customer files, perform quality control checks on policies prior to delivery to the customer, and process routine correspondence.
-Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance coverage.
-Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
-A positive, ethical person driven & focused on building relationships.
-Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
-Good computer skills.
