Mass. FAIR Plan Institutes New Claim Number for Nemo

February 12, 2013 by Julia Ybarra

This number will also serve for insureds of the Rhode Island Joint Reinsurance Association

In response to Nemo or the Blizzard of 2013, the Massachusetts Property Insurance Underwriting Association, along with the Rhode Island Joint Reinsurance Association, have instituted a new special telephone number for new claim submissions.

The number is: 1-866-384-3808 for Blizzard of 2013 claims only. Both associations say that using this number will aid greatly in increasing efficiency and their response to claims.

Agents may want to notify any of their clients insured through the FAIR plan who are planning to file a claim.
