myVM is Vermont Mutual’s new Customer Web Portal
The Vermont Mutual Insurance Group has unveiled myVM, its new customer web portal. This latest digital initiative is designed to provide Vermont Mutual policyholders greater speed and access to information about the policies placed with the carrier.
“As customer expectations evolve, we need to evolve with them” said Mark McDonnell, Vermont Mutual’s Senior Vice President. “We believe the 24/7 functionality provided by myVM, along with the expert guidance and service customers can only get from an independent agent, is a combination that can’t be beat.”
The new online portal was designed entirely in-house
Vermont Mutual says that its new portal offers a safer and more secure way to follow the status of a claim, to access policy information, and to even print ID cards.
Of note, the portal has also been designed to respond to a variety of policyholder needs. Features includes access via any type of device, including mobile phones and tablets as well as the ability to receive reminders via text or email. The portal also has design features which allow policyholders to remember important events, such as license renewal, vehicle registration, and even birthdays.
“In addition to the excitement around what the introduction of myVM means to our customers, we’re very proud to have developed this new tool entirely in-house” said Joanne Currier, Vermont Mutual’s Vice President of IT. “The experience gained through that process positions us well as we undertake future projects aimed at enhancing a customer’s overall experience with Vermont Mutual.”
Available to all current Vermont Mutual policyholders
For interested Massachusetts agents, the portal, which has gone live, is available to all policyholders of Vermont Mutual, Northern Security Insurance Company, Inc., as well as the affiliated Granite Mutual Insurance Company.
