What we publish and promote on our site…
If your agency, organization, association or insurance company has an insurance event in Massachusetts that you wish to publicize, you can now post this event on Agency Checklists’ front page calendar. The calendar provides month at-a-glance views of insurance events in the Massachusetts. Our Events Calendar also features a rolling sidebar listing the six upcoming events in and around the Commonwealth. If a reader is interested in learning about or attending an event, one may click on it to view the event details (A screenshot of the sidebar as it appears on our homepage is featured below).
Currently over 18,000 persons visit Agency Checklists monthly and see the site’s “Upcoming Events” front page sidebar.
Free posting of events
This new service added by Agency Checklist to its site allows readers to directly add their events’ information to Agency Checklists’ upcoming events calendar
Posting on Agency Checklists’ calendar is free. Really. No strings attached and “no charge.” All interested individuals are welcome to submit their events for inclusion on the calendar.
How to add an event…
On the front page of the website, on the right-hand side, you can see a sidebar named “Upcoming Events”. Beneath the title features a listing of the next five upcoming insurance events scheduled in Massachusetts. If you look to the bottom of this sidebar is the link to “View All Events.” (circled in figure 1).
If you click on “View All Events”, a monthly view of the calendar should opens. (See Figure 2, below).
In the upper right corner of the monthly view is a Submit Event” button. (Circled in Figure 2, below). If you click on the button, “Submit Event,” a screen will open with the form to add your event.
Put in as little or as much information as your event requires
You can enter as much or as little detail as you wish, but remember that persons looking at the calendar will need sufficient information to determine the location, time, and placement so the more complete the better.
The only required information is the event title and the event description along with the date, time, and location. Once you have put in whatever information you wish, clicking the Submit Event button (Figure 3.) will post the event.
Calendar entry form allows for brochures, maps and related website links
Beyond the basic information of your event, the form allows for you to enter as much information as you wish for your potential attendees. You can add:
- Uploaded images or other files
- Multi-day events
- Venue details
- Google map links
- Organizer details
- Event website URL
- Event costs
The following link will open the event entry form, for those who wish to review all its functions right now or if you wish to use the entry form to publicize a particular event: Agency Checklists calendar entry form.

Agency Checklists hopes this new feature will aid our readers in publicizing events of interest to the Massachusetts insurance community and that it will provide a central location where readers can find information on events of interest.
On a final note, please remember that while free, Agency Checklists does reserve the right in its discretion to not approve events that it believes do not fit within the profile for Agency Checklists readers.
