Mr. Hutchinson’s will work with NBIC’s agency partners in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts
The Narragansett Bay Insurance Company has announced that Peter Hutchinson has been named the company’s Assistant Vice President – Rhode Island and Massachusetts Territory Manager. In his new position with NBIC, Mr. Hutchinson will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong and productive partnerships with NBIC’s agents and industry associations as well as driving profitable growth whole ensuring service delivery to NBIC insureds in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

Mr. Hutchinson joins the the homeowner’s-only insurance company from the Heritage Property & Casualty Insurance Company, where he was the State Sales & Marketing Director for Massachusetts and Rhode Island. With more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, Mr. Hutchinson has lead territory development and management strategies for insurers including UPC Insurance, SAFECO, and Commerce Insurance. A resident of Westfield, Massachusetts, he attended Westfield State College and maintains a Certified Insurance Counselor Designation (CIC).
