Fouché To Succeed LaRocco at Fireman’s Fund

Fireman’s Fund has a new CEO.  Lori Dickerson Fouché will succeed outgoing President, Michael LaRocco, who has decided to leave to pursue other professional opportunities.

Ms. Fouché joined Fireman’s Fund in February 2006 and was the President of Commercial Insurance until this new appointment.  Prior to that she was Fireman’s Fund’s Chief Operating Officer for their Specialty Business.

Ms. Fouché is a graduate of Princeton and also holds an MBA from Harvard University.

In other Fireman’s Fund news, the company also announced that its CFO Jill Paterson will retire from the company at the end of the year.

“Allianz and Fireman’s Fund have provided me with exceptional opportunities over the past 19 years, but now it’s time for me to move on,” said Paterson. “This is an amazing company with wonderful employees and I”ll miss them all.”

The Fireman’s Fun board plan to look for Ms. Paterson’s successor during the rest of this year while she continues in her current position. Ms. Paterson joined Fireman’s Fund in 2003 as senior VP and controller. Prior to that she enjoyed an 11-year career at Allianz Canada where she rose through the ranks in Finance eventually becoming its Senior VP and CFO.
