CAR has scheduled its first Governing Committee Meeting of the Fall for Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 10:00am. In its Notice of Meeting posted on its website, the authority mentions that the Chairman of the Personnel Committee will be reporting on the status of its meetings from September 6th and 13th. More importantly, however, it also notes that the Chairman’s report on the 21st may also include the nomination of a candidate for the President of CAR and a potential request for the Governing Committee’s vote on such nomination. Other committees scheduled to present reports at the meeting on the 21st include:
- Report of Senior Staff regarding matters affecting CAR;
- Counsel’s Report on legal matters affecting CAR including pending litigation and CAR Rule changes;
- Loss Reserving Committee which will be reporting on its committee meeting of September 7th;
- Compliance Audit Committee which will be reporting on its committee meeting of September 13th;
- MAIP Steering Committee which will be reporting on its committee meeting of September 16th;
- Budget Committee which will be reporting on its committee meeting of September 6th.
