Sword Insurance Rebrands as AgencyPort Software

October 6, 2011 by AC Editor

This week Boston-based Sword Insurance announced that it will be changing its name to AgencyPort Software.  The move was announced during the company’s Annual User Conference which included its more than 120 Property & Casualty insurance industry clients worldwide.

In over ten years of working with blue chip customers we have become known for innovative software, deep domain experience and for project delivery teams dedicated to client success,” said Steve Hauck, co-founder of AgencyPort and co-CEO. “While being owned by the Sword Group, we brought a number of innovative new products to market, signed up new clients, established a strong European presence, and added an offshore delivery team. With our original brand and our new strategic partner and financial sponsor, Thomas H. Lee Partners, we are more committed and capable than ever to serve our customers’ needs.”

The company says that over the next several weeks it will be updating its website, e-mail addresses and other materials to reflect the change and to operate as “AgencyPort” globally, which include the company units formally known as “Intech.”  As of now, all management will remain the same in the company.
