William Gallagher, the insurance brokerage, risk management and employee benefits firm announced the promotions of four of its employees this month: Paula Cabral, Karen Cangemi, Meredith McCabe and Brendan Glass.
Paula Cabral and Karen Cangemi have been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President within the Property Casualty practice. Cabral, a 17 year veteran of the insurance industry, specializes in the risks of the Life Sciences industry as well as being a resource expert for the company’s Executive Risk lines. Cangemi provides technical expertise to clients dealing with international and property related risks. Ms. Cangemi, a frequent contributor to WGA’s InsureBlog has her CPCU designation. She has been with WGA since 2005.
Meredith McCabe also promoted to the position of Senior Vice President has been with WGA since 1999. She deals with large employers regarding compliance, cost-sharing strategies, plan design modification solutions and a other self-funding techniques.
Brendan Glass has been promoted to the position of Vice President at WGA. Mr. Glass joined WGA in 2006 “…to focus on developing relationships with new clients in a number of segments, particularly for technology, private equity and venture capital organizations.”
In addition to its Boston office, William Gallagher Associates also has offices in five other locations down the Eastern Seaboard in NewYork, Hartford, Princeton, Columbia and Atlanta.
