The CAR Governing Committee Meeting met on February 15, 2012.
As part of the President’s Report, Mr. Judson, suggested that the idea of CAR moving to smaller office space be investigated. While no firm plans have been put forth, he felt it aligned with the authority’s cost-saving measures to investigate the possibility of moving to a new space. Since staff layoffs, CAR only uses about half the space it currently occupies.
In other matters, the CAR Governing Committee approved action items put forth by the Loss Reserving Committee, the MAIP Steering Committee and the Compliance Audit Committee.
The Governing Committee also approved the employee compensation recommendations of the Personnel Committee for calendar year 2012.
