Coverys has appointed Dan Houghton as its Marketing Representative for Massachusetts. The medical professional liability company says that Mr. Houghton will be responsible for managing the agency distribution network, along with renewal and new business development in this territory.

His experience with the company and knowledge of the Massachusetts market will be helpful in ensuring continued success in the territory.” said Coverys’ Vice President of Marketing, Michael Kubik. “I’m confident his strong customer service skills and interpersonal qualities will be an asset to agents and policyholders, as well as the rest of the department.”
Prior to this new appointment, Mr. Houghton spent 11 years in the Covery’s Underwriting Department, first as an underwriting technician, then an associate underwriter and most recently as underwriter. Mr. Houghton is a Licensed Massachusetts Insurance Producer and is currently pursuing his Registered Professional Liability Underwriter designation. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and currently resides in Jamaica Plain.
