The MAIP Steering Committee will hold a meeting on March 28, 2012 at 10:00 at the CAR offices located at 225 Franklin Street in Boston.
In addition to any new business which may be presented at the meeting, the committee will also be dealing with the Voluntary Rate Analysis issue. The following is taken from the MAIP Steering Committee’s Notice:
At its February 15, 2012 meeting, the Governing Committee voted to accept the MAIP Steering Committee’s proposal relating to providing an Assigned Risk Producer (ARP) access to the voluntary rates of the Assigned Risk Company (ARC) at the time an assignment is processed.
Attached for the Committee’s consideration are proposed amendments to Rule 28 – Application Process, Rule 30 – Assigned Risk Company Requirements, and Rule 31 – Assigned Risk Producer Requirements. The effective date of the proposed amendments is July 1, 2012 as was suggested at the February 14, 2012 meeting. (Docket #MSC11.09)
