Worker’s Compensation Insurance Rate Filing Dominates May Hearings Schedule at the Division of Insurance

The following is a list of hearings that The Massachusetts Division of Insurance will be holding during the month of May. As made obvious by the May schedule, the Worker’s Compensation Insurance Rate Filing will dominate the docket this month. On March 30, 2012 the DOI held a public hearing on the proposed rates increases filed by the Worker’s Compensation Rating and Inspection Bureau (WCRIB) which seeks an overall 19.3 percent raise in workers compensation rates.

MAY 2012 Schedule

May 14, 2012 – Worker’s Compensation Insurance Rate Filing, Hearing Officers will be Jean Farrington and Stephen Sumner

May 15, 2012 – Worker’s Compensation Insurance Rate Filing, Hearing Officers will be Jean Farrington and Stephen Sumner

May 18, 2012 – Worker’s Compensation Insurance Rate Filing, Hearing Officers will be Jean Farrington and Stephen Sumner
