Insurance Commissioner Murphy was the guest speaker at the Annual Membership Luncheon
On June 28, 2012, the Metro South Independent Insurance Agents Association held its annual luncheon at The Shaw Center in Brockton. Commissioner Murphy, who gave the keynote address spoke about the current state of insurance in Massachusetts and in particular how Massachusetts will fare with the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold the Affordable Health Care Act.
As it did last year, Arbella Insurance was this year’s Platinum Sponsor of the event. Gold Sponsors included Safety Insurance, MAPFRE/Commerce Insurance and Quincy Mutual. Silver Sponsors included ServiceMaster – South Shore, Plymouth Rock Assurance, Acadia Insurance Company, Betro & Company, P.C., and Samuel F. McCormack Insurance Adjusters.
