CAR Governing Committee Back To Work After Summer Break

September 13, 2012 by AC Editor

The Commonwealth Automobile Reinsurers’ Governing Committee will have its first meeting after the summer break on September 19, 2012 at 10:00am. As most know the meeting is subject to the Open Meeting Law and is open to the public; any one interested in attending should contact the CAR offices in order to place their name on the visitor security list. Note all attendees will need to show a valid ID in order to enter the building prior to attending the actual meeting.

Among those issues that will be discussed at this month’s meeting are the following:

  • Daniel Judson, CAR President, will give his report on matters affecting CAR and will likely give an update on the plans for CAR to move to a new location;
  • The Extension of CAR’s Engagement of Outside Counsel: the CAR Governing Committee will be asked to consider extending the current agreement CAR has with Morrison Mahoney LLP for an additional two-year term;
  • The Actuarial, Compliance Audit, Loss Reserving and Budget Committee will all give status reports on the issues they are working on.
