The CAR Governing Committee is scheduled for this Wednesday
The CAR Governing Committee will meet on April 16, 2014 at 10:30 AM at 225 Franklin Street in Boston. The meeting, which is generally held on a bi-monthly basis, will discuss the current business before the committee including the President’s Report, Counsel’s Report and the meeting minutes from the Loss Reserving Committee, the Compliance Audit Committee and the Personnel Committee.
What will like be discussed at this week’s meeting
The Governing Committee will be voting on whether to extend its contract with Morrison Mahoney as outside legal counsel for CAR. The extension would have the law firm continue to represent the authority for another two years until June 30, 2016.
Who can attend the CAR Governing Commitee Meetings?
The CAR Governing Committee hearings are subject to the Open Meeting Law and are therefore open to any and all who would like to attend. Note, however, that the security measures at 225 Franklin Street require that you registration with CAR prior to attending.
