A look at which insurance companies write the most Commercial Auto Insurance in Mass.
As we did with our analysis of those insurance companies with the greatest market share of homeowner’s insurance in Massachusetts, the following is a graph of the top 10 insurance companies with the largest share of the commercial automobile insurance marketplace in Massachusetts.
It is interesting to note that half of the insurance companies having the largest commercial auto market share in Massachusetts are also headquartered here as well. Another highlight from this graph is the fact that Tokio Marine and Nachido Fire Insurance Co. ranks among the Top Ten in this line of insurance; a company which has an otherwise quiet presence in the Bay State. The following graph from the Commonwealth Automobile Reinsurers outlines what other insurers are included in the top ten, a group which all together claims 74.9% of the commercial auto market share.
