The MA Auto Insurance Companies Who Receive The Most Consumer Complaints

June 8, 2014 by AC Editor

The list, issued by the Massachusetts Division of Insurance, is based upon Consumer-sourced Data

Each year the Division of Insurance receives on average between 1,500 and 2,000 consumer complaints involving claim processing, inappropriate denials, and improper agent claim handling matters relating to all lines of insurance. Of that, the Division attends to hundreds of issues involving “automobile-related matters.”

In our continuing effort to bring greater information to agents about auto insurance companies doing business in Massachusetts, the following lists highlights how many auto insurance complaints were filed against the largest private passenger automobile insurance companies doing business here. Please note the data is based on the year 2012, the latest year for which complete information is available.
