Registry Offers Free Lottery For 160 Low Number License Plates

June 14, 2014 by AC Editor

RMV Registrar Celia Blue is posing a challenge to all Massachusetts residents this year

Agency Checklists, Mass. RMV NewsWe love reminding Massachusetts agents about this annual event, because it is such a easy and economical way to reach out to your insureds each year and to help them get a great prize for free. This year’s low plate lottery, which begins on June 14, 2014 will run until August 11, 2014. Exact details of when the lottery drawing will be announced will be disclosed in late August. By law, winners must be announced by September 15, 2014.

“The lowest available plate this year has great significance; it is the number 351 and that is the total number of cities and towns in Massachusetts,” said Registrar Blue. “I am posing a challenge to our drivers; I would like to see residents from all 351 communities participate in this year’s drawing.”

A copy of this year’s application is available here.

There are 160 low number plates available in this year’s RMV lottery

There are approximately twenty more low number plates available in this year’s lottery as opposed to last year. Please note that only applications sent in by mail and postmarked by August 12, 2013 will be accepted. Unlike last year, however, the RMV will notify winners via email if they include a valid address on this year’s application.
