Agency Checklists, MA Insurance News, Mass. Insurance NewsDuring its annual meeting on April 15, 2015, Vermont Mutual’s Board of Directors named Daniel C. Bridge as it new President. Mr. Bridge will become the 17th president of the 187 year old group of companies. He replaces former President and current Chief Executive Officer William A. Catto, who will retire on June 30, 2015.

“As Executive Vice President, Dan has played a lead role in guiding the strategic direction of our organization” said CEO, William A. “I am pleased and honored to be chosen to lead such a successful and well respected organization” stated Bridge. “I’m also excited to continue to collaborate with a talented and dedicated team of management and staff at Vermont Mutual as we partner with the best Independent Agents in the Northeast to deliver excellent products and service to over 285,000 customers.” Bridge added, “As we look to the future, we will combine the rich history of Vermont Mutual with the innovation needed to stay competitive in this ever-changing industry.
