Aon Risk Solutions New England has offices in Boston, Waltham and Providence
Aon Risk Solutions has welcomed Joe Surette as the company’s new resident managing director of its Boston operations. Aon Risk Solutions is the global risk management business of Aon Plc (NYSE: AON).
In his new position, Mr. Surette will be responsible for managing talent as well as ensuring that Aon Boston will become an important location to develop both as a professional and leader in the insurance industry.
“Boston has been recognized as a key area of growth for our firm as well as a great environment for our talent to develop a deep understanding of the industry,” said Mike Parrish, East region leader for Aon Risk Solutions. “Joe’s knowledge of the East region and extensive industry and leadership expertise will greatly benefit our team.
“Joe will be a great asset in helping guide colleagues as they address the unique risks and needs of our clients,” Parrish added. “We are thrilled to have him as a part of our team.”
Prior to joining Aon Boston, Mr. Surette was a Senior Vice President and Area Executive for New England with Zurich Financial Services, where he oversaw the market-facing operations for New England as well as managing and transforming the company’s regional distribution channels and strategies. In addition to his almost ten years with Zurich Financial Services, Mr. Surette was also an Assistant Vice President with AIG for a decade. He began his insurance career as a producer with Hub International.
