MAPFRE Strenghtens Leadership Team with Strategic Hires
Executive Vice President & Chief Technical Officer Mick Noland and Senior Vice President of Business Development Andrea Zemaitis bring decades of industry experience
MAPFRE USA has announced the hiring of two senior leadership team members. Mick Noland, former Senior Vice President of Product Management at MetLife Auto & Home, has joined MAPFRE as Executive Vice President & Chief Technical Officer. Andrea Zemaitis, former Vice President of Strategic Opportunities for Small Commercial Insurance at Liberty Mutual, has joined MAPFRE as Senior Vice President of Business Development.
Noland, who has over 25 years in the insurance industry, oversees Product, Underwriting and Predictive Analytics at MAPFRE. The Claims organization also reports directly to him. Previously Noland was responsible for product development, pricing, underwriting and catastrophe/risk management in property and casualty at MetLife.
As head of MAPFRE USA’s Business Development organization, Zemaitis leads the marketing and distribution strategy in the United States, including client and agency management, business development, channel development and marketing. She has more than 20 years of experience at Liberty Mutual, where she held leadership positions focusing on distribution strategy and execution in small commercial and personal insurance.

Risk Strategies Appoints Mark Manzi as National Brokerage Leader
Move comes as firm accelerates specialty practices growth, placed premiums exceed $3 billion
Risk Strategies, a privately held, rapidly growing national insurance brokerage and risk management firm, today announced it has appointed Mark Manzi as national brokerage leader. Manzi, an industry veteran with 30 years’experience placing and negotiating coverage, began his career at Marsh in New York. He came to Risk Strategies through its 2015 acquisition of healthcare specialty brokerage Dubraski & Associates, where he served as Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer and Practice Leader.

Manzi most recently served as property & casualty division leader for Risk Strategies’ health care practice. In his new role, Manzi will be the company’s lead liaison to the carrier community; responsible for communicating the needs of the firm and its clients, as well as helping practice leaders and producers understand the carrier landscape and assist them in negotiating complicated coverage on larger deals.
Sixteen Employees Honored By Boston Mutual Life Insurance Company For Long-Term Service
Boston Mutual Life Insurance Company, a national provider of insurance solutions for individuals and at the workplace, today announced the acknowledgment of 16 employees at the company’s most recent quarterly Service Recognition Celebration. The diversity of the recognized employees’ tenure—from five to 40 years—and the range of their departments highlights the depth of expertise at the company.
