New Vice President of Claims At Arbella

Agency Checklists, MA insurance news,Quincy-based Arbella Insurance Group announced this week that it has appointed Joseph. L. Salerno II as a vice president of Claims. Mr. Salerno will lead the insurer’s entire Claims organization as well as be responsible for all functional areas of the department. This will include supervising claims services for personal and  commercial lines of business in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut and New Hampshire. He will reported directly to Arbella COO Janet Corcoran.[pullquote]His breadth of claims experience and his close alignment with Arbella’s core values position him well for success in his new role at Arbella.[/pullquote]

Mr. Salerno who comes to Arbella from Travelers Insurance, has also held past leaderships positions at both Zurich and Great American during which he gained extensive experience in such areas as primary accountability for a national carrier general liability field organization, dealing with general liability and workers’ compensation claims and complex litigation matters involving both commercial and personal lines.

A central New York Native, Mr. Salerno received his Bachelor of Arts in political science from the State University of New York at Potsdam.
