Last month, the Narragansett Bay Insurance Company name Timothy Moura as its new Senior Vice President, Marketing, Agency and Client Services. Nearly a 20-year veteran of the Massachusetts insurance industry, Mr. Moura served most recently as Vice President, Business Development, Commercial Lines for Tower Group Companies. Prior to that he served as Vice President, Underwriting and Product Management< Personal Lines for the company. He also was a Regional Vice President, Personal Lines for OneBeacon Insurance Group.
“Tim’s extensive management experience, coupled with his success in establishing effective producer relationships, will
help to maintain and enhance our market share along the East Coast,” said Todd Hart, Chief Executive Officer of Narragansett Bay Insurance.
In his new role at NBIC, Mr. Moura will focus on the development and oversight of agency relationships in order to advance the company’s overall business objectives. In addition, his new role will call for the development and executive of strategic marketing initiatives aimed at increasing NBIC’s homeowners insurance market presence along the Eastern Seabord.

A graduate of Worcester’s Clark University, Mr. Moura also received an MBA from Rhode Island’s Bryant University.
