The on-line independent auto insurance agency, Goji, has welcomed Steve Kezirian as its new Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Kezirian will succeed interim CEO James Ermilio, who will has transitioned back to his Chief Insurance Officer and Board Director roles. While not currently functioning in the Massachusetts insurance marketplace, the seven year old company which is based in Boston touts itself as the country’s largest online, independent auto insurance agency. With the appointment of Mr. Kezirian the company is planning to expand the company’s reach in offering on-line auto insurance.

Our goal is to make buying car insurance hassle-free,” said Justin Dangel, Goji’s founder and Chairman. “Steve’s proven leadership in the customer service industry and extensive background in call center management will help us deliver the best possible experience for our customers as we continue to grow. He has the management skills, operational discipline and passion necessary to achieve our mission for consumers.”
Prior to joining Goji, Mr. Kezirian was most recently the Chief Executive Officer of IBEX Global Solutions, a provider of outsourced contact center solutions focusing on complex, technology-intensive applications. As CEO, Mr. Kezirian’s responsibilities include overseeing the company’s total operations and more than 12,000 employees dispersed in 23 locations in six different countries. In addition to his role as CEO at IBEX Global Solutions, Mr. Kezirian has held executive roles in a number of other companies including Cg Technology, Sprint and Tickets.com. A cum laude graduate of Harvard College, Mr. Kezirian also holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School. In commenting on his appointment as CEO, Mr. Kezirian noted the unique opportunity that Goji presented to him.
