The authority made the announcement in Bulletin No. 1026
The Commonwealth Automobile Reinsurers has announced that it will be relocating to its new offices next month. As outlined in its August 16th Bulletin, CAR will move from its present location at 225 Franklin Street to 101 Arch Street. The move, which will occur over a three day period, will take place from September 9 and ending September 11, 2016.
The new address for CAR as of September 12th will be:

It is important to note that as a result of the move, the authority will close on Friday, September 9th at 3:00 P.M. remaining closed until Monday, September 12th at 8:30 A.M. During this time period, agents will be unable to access CAR’s telephone system, website, and email, all of which will be non-operational during this time frame.
If any problems occur during the move
If any problems arise resulting in the continued unavailability of its systems as of 7:00 A.M. Monday, September 12th, CAR will post a status report accessible via CAR’s main telephone number, 617-338-4000. In addition, Massachusetts insurance professionals with any additional questions or concerns pertaining to CAR’s relocation of its offices and the resulting changes to the processing schedule and the associated report requirements are asked to contact Wendy Browne, CAR’s Vice President – Business Operations or to your company’s Data Analyst.
