This is the second acquisition for the Cambridge-based agency in the past 10 months
WTPhelan has acquired the Del Mastro Insurance Agency, an independent agency located in Newton, MA. Vincent Del Mastro, who began the agency in 1963, sold it after his decision to retire from insurance.
“At WTPhelan, we are committed to providing exceptional service, and we are honored that Mr. Del Mastro has entrusted our agency to take care of his customers” said Robert Ramsey, the Agency’s Vice President. “We are delighted to welcome the Del Mastro customers to the WTPhelan community, and are confident that we will provide them with the same level of integrity and care they have received from the Del Mastro family over the past 50 years.
The purchase agreement is effective as of July 1. Personal insurance customers of Del Mastro will be handled out of WTPhelan’s Watertown office while commercial customers will be serviced through its Arlington branch.
