Earlier this morning, the Governing Committee elected Daniel Judson as the new President of CAR or The Commonwealth Automobile Reinsurers.
Mr. Judson, began his legal career at Hunt & White and worked for a number of years with the Massachusetts Division of Insurance in a variety of positions including counsel, deputy commissioner and general counsel. Later in his career, he was a partner at Morrison, Mahoney, LLP and the Compliance Manager of ProMutual (now Coverys.) Mr. Judson is a Suffolk University Law School Graduate and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He also claims membership in the Federation of Regulatory Counsel and the American Bar Association.
Mr. Judson replaces long-time President Ralph “Buddy” Iannaco, who retired in June of this year.
