Commissioner Murphy has approved and appointed two new members to the CAR Governing Committee. Effective October 31, 2011 Ms. Carol M. Berthold the Residual Marketing General Manager of GEICO and Mr. John P. Tierney, Sr. Vice President & Chief Actuary of the Quincy Mutual Group are members of the CAR Governing Committee. Each of their terms will run from October 31, 2011 through June 30, 2012. Mr. Tierney will replace Andrew Carpentier who had been representing Quincy Mutual on the CAR Governing Committee.
The next Governing Committee meeting will be held at the CAR offices on November 16th at 10:00. The annual meeting also will be held on the same day at 9:00am. This will also mark the first appearance at a Governing Committee meeting for CAR’s new President Daniel Judson.
