Boston-based insurtech Ask Kodiak has announced the addition of two new members to its team. Lou Geremia and Marcia Berner have both joined the Boston-based commercial search engine
Lou has joined Ask Kodiak as the Head of Growth. In his role he will be responsible for helping build new carrier relationships and expanding existing ones. Lou will also be helping to broaden Ask Kodiak’s growing list of partners. “Lou has been someone our team has known and admired for many years. His experience in the industry – especially in the area of digital distribution having played key roles at Internet Insurance Group and Goji – are an asset that’s already paying dividends even though he’s only been with us a short time.” Allan Egbert, Co-Founder of Ask Kodiak said.
Marcia has been working with Ask Kodiak in some capacity since 2018 and has now joined the team full time. In her role as senior business analyst she will be playing a lead role in building out Ask Kodiak’s extensive NAICS code mapping library and helping carriers and agents make the most of the Ask Kodiak platform. “We first worked with Marcia when she joined the team at AgencyPort in 2004 where she was the go-to person for all things related to data standards and mappings. As we started to build out a new product offering to help our customers transition to NAICS codes we knew there was only one person for the job. She’s been an amazing addition to the team and we’re lucky to have her.” Michael Albert, Co-Founder of Ask Kodiak said.
More about Ask Kodiak
We’re a little different. We come from the industry, and we know it well. The Ask Kodiak team has led business-critical projects for agents and carriers, with particular expertise in ways these stakeholders work well together and way they don’t…yet.
Ask Kodiak is in the business of helping agents and carriers collaborate and communicate in the digital world, not ‘disrupting insurance’ like the new guys or relaying AL3 to 1980’s era mailboxes like the legacy vendors you know all too well. You can expect more from us.
This means: Total user control, including the ability to turn on/off or prioritize appetite on-demand. Great UI/UX. Simplified sign-up and sign-on. Full-featured APIs. No pesky salespeople. No hidden consulting projects for your budget dollars to suddenly fund. And… all with a clear ROI: Ask Kodiak helps carriers and agents write more of the risks they want to write, faster.
Together with our clients, we’re making insurance easier for everyone and having fun doing it. At the end of the day, not only are we smarter, faster, and better looking, but we guarantee Ask Kodiak to be the easiest to use software in the industry.
