LYNNFIELD – Soderberg Insurance Services Inc. recently presented a $1000 donation to Boston Rescue Mission, continuing a long tradition of support for this outstanding homeless shelter in downtown Boston.  The shelter provides housing, meals and rehabilitative services for men and women who have nowhere else to go, treating all guests with respect, integrity, and grace.

Recently, the Lynnfield business sold delicious See’s candies to clients, business partners and visitors to their Lynnfield office. 100% of the proceeds of the sale were donated to the shelter.  The primary goal of Boston Rescue Mission is to offer resources that prevent and end homelessness and to support the recovery, health, faith, and independence of those who have a history of substance abuse, incarceration, and homelessness.  The shelter is open 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

“We would like to thank our customers, visitors and business partners who stopped by our office to buy chocolates in support of this great organization that has been around since 1899” states Kathryn Soderberg, CPCU President of Soderberg Insurance Services Inc.  Ms. Soderberg adds “we are committed to supporting local non-profit organizations that have a positive impact on the lives and the community that we serve.”  For more information about the shelter, Boston Rescue Mission, visit brm.org.
