William Lemos has joined Eastern Insurance as a senior vice president and manager of its construction practice. A 15-year veteran of the Massachusetts insurance industry, Mr. Lemos has extensive experience in placing coverage for large builders’ risk exposures, complex property programs, and surety. In his new position, Mr. Lemos will focus on providing oversight and direction for the company’s operations, marketing and new business growth in its construction practice. In addition, he will also focus on producing new business revenue across all industry practice groups.
Prior to joining Eastern Insurance, Mr. Lemos was most recently a vice president and construction practice leader at Marsh, USA where he was a top producer and member of the real estate and surety teams. Over the course of his career, he has held numerous leadership positions with companies such as Zurich, where he was the Global Property Leader for New England, with AIG as its Business Development Manager for Metro Boston and at Sheppard Riley Coughlin as a Client Executive in their Construction division.
A Massachusetts native, Mr. Lemos is a graduate of the Pingree School and Hobart College and is currently the co-chair for the Brookwood School Annual Fund. He currently resides in Rowley along with his wife and two children.
