FBInsure Acquires New Bedford Insurance Agency

FBInsure, also known as the Farrell Backlund Agency, has seven locations throughout Southeastern Massachusetts

FBInsure announced this week that is has merged with the Gramlich Insurance Agency. Located in New Bedford, the Gramlich Agency is owned and operated by President Ray Gramlich.

“I could not be more excited to strengthen our service team and provide a more comprehensive breadth of products to our valued clients,” stated Gramlich in the announcement of the merger.

According to the terms of the transaction, Mr. Gramlich will join FBInsurance after the completion of the merger. At FBInsure, Mr. Gramlich will run the agency’s New Bedford operations which include over 1,400 clients as well as managing the transition of the Gramlich Agency over to the FBInsure brand.

Originally known as the The Farrell Backlund Agency, FBInsure is a full service agency with approximately 80 employees and a client base of over 20,000 personal and commercial clients. With the addition of the Gramlich Agency, FBInsurance now boasts of a staff of eighty in seven locations throughout Southeastern Massachusetts including Attleboro, Middleboro, Dighton, Rehoboth, East Freetown, the company’s headquarters in Taunton and now New Bedford.
