Boston Mutual continues to expand its one-year-old Workplace Solutions division
Boston Mutual Life Insurance Company has announced the addition of Kevin Poynter as its Regional Vice President of Sales to its Workplace Solutions division. Mr. Poynter will be responsible for managing the regional sales team in the Southern region.

Mr. Poynter represents is the second recent Vice President of Sales hire for the Boston Mutual division. In this newly created role at the mutual insurer, Mr. Poynter will be developing and managing the company’s regional sales team for both the Southeast and Southwest regions.
He will work in a parallel role to David Cirulis, who joined the mutual life insurer last month as its Regional Vice President of Sales for the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic Regions. Together, the two newest additions are key to Boston Mutual Life’s plans to continue expanding its Workplace Solutions division, created last year from the merger of the company’s Worksite and Group teams.

Prior to joining Boston Mutual Life, Mr. Poynter was most recently spent the past six years as the Regional Practice Leader at Humana in Nashville, Tennessee, and Tampa, Florida. Prior to that he served as Regional Manager for ING Employee Benefits in Florida. Mr. Poynter first started his sales career at UnumProvident Corporation in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
A graduate of the University of Tennessee, he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree focusing on accounting, finance, and management.
