Boston Mutual Promotes Josh Police To Regional Vice President of Sales

February 8, 2016 by AC Editor

Canton-based insurer, Boston Mutual Life Insurance Company, has promoted Josh Police to Regional Vice President of Sales for its Workplace Solutions division. Mr. Police has most recently been serving as the insurer’s New England Director for the division.

“Josh Police’s promotion is a testament to his excellent work, dedication to providing exemplary service, and the success of the Workplace Solutions team,” said Paul A. Quaranto, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer. “As we enter our 125th year, Boston Mutual continues our commitment to providing our policyholders and producers with seasoned and valuable resources to help them meet their insurance needs.”

As the new Regional Vice President of Sales, Workplace Solutions for the New England region at Boston Mutual, Mr. Police will oversee and manage the life insurer’s regional sales team throughout New England.

After four years in that position, he was appointed Director of Sales, New England in 2012. Prior to joining the Boston Mutual team, Mr. Police was a Regional Vice President, Retirement Income Consultant, and Sales Team Leader at Sun Life Financial Distributors.

Mr. Police is a 2003 graduate of Bowdoin College. In 2011, he obtained his MBA from the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University. Boston Mutual says the Mr. Police’s appointment is an important part of the expansion of its Workplace Solutions division.

Josh Police has been a key component to the integration of our Workplace Solutions division,” said Charlie Mabry, Vice President of Workplace Solutions at Boston Mutual Life Insurance Company. “With his extensive network and strong relationships in the New England market, I’m confident he will continue to be a tremendous asset to our policyholders, producers, and our company.”

Third appointment for Boston Mutual’s new division in six months

Mr. Police’s official appointment, is Boston Mutual’s third such announcement within the past six months. In November 2015, the life insurer hired Dave Cirulis to manage the company’s sales teams in the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions. A month later, in December 2015, the company followed that announcement with the appointment of Kevin Poynter to oversee the Southern region.

All three appointments follow Boston Mutual’s decision to create its new Workplace Solutions Division in the fall of 2014. The divsion’s creation stemmed from the 125-year old insurer’s decision to reorganize, streamline and integrate both its Worksite and Group teams.
