Optisure Risk Partners officially launched in November of 2016

Optisure, the new national insurance brokerage firm providing best in class insurance and risk management solutions to clients throughout the United States has announced its first acquisition.

Peter R. Milnes, CEO of Optisure Risk Partners issued an announcement that the firm has acquired Snow Insurance of Rochester, NH.  Snow Insurance’s owner Christopher Snow will join Aspen Insurance, an Optisure Risk Partner, as the company’s Senior Account Manager and Condominium Specialist. Mr. Snow, whose careers spans 30 years in the insurance industry, is an expert specializing in Residential Condominium Associations.

William J. Infantine, Managing Director of Aspen, commented, “I’ve had the pleasure of working with Chris in my role as the former chairman of NHAIA for a number of years. He is one of the most a knowledgeable and caring insurance professionals I’ve had the pleasure of working with. We welcome him to our team of condominium and commercial insurance specialists.”

Prior to starting Snow Insurance, Mr. Snow was affiliated with Bernier Insurance and a National Insurance Broker. A graduate from American College with a BS in Marketing and Minor in Economics, Mr. Snow is active member of the New Hampshire insurance community including the Community Associations Institute – (CAI-NH) and the New Hampshire Association of Insurance Agents (NHAIA). He is the current incoming chairman of the NHAIA.

Optisure is currently the largest provider of condo insurance in Northern NE

While only a couple of months old, Optisure has already quickly become the largest provider of condo insurance in Northern New England, with the firmproviding coverage programs for over 30,000 units. The company now employs more than 60+ throughout both the Northeast and Florida.

Mr. Milnes explained the genesis of Optisure to Agency Checklists in our November 22, 2016 article entitled “Peter Milnes Announces New National Brokerage Firm, Optisure Risk Partners,”

A firm that operates locally with global capabilities

In announcing Optisure Mr. Milnes stated Optisure’s regional partners will operate locally but with global capabilities that address the entire spectrum of risk management, employee benefit and property-casualty insurance needs.

Mr. Milnes noted, “As a result of regional firms being acquired and consolidated by national players, often with investors with short term time horizons, clients are left without local access to peer business owners in the insurance industry. Optisure will provide the solution to enhanced capabilities while our founders stay involved as owners of the business.”

Founding organizations of Optisure generate over $140 million in insurance premium

Optisure’s founding organizations include Aspen Insurance Agency of Manchester, New Hampshire; Richards Robinson Sheppard Insurance of Boston and Beverly Massachusetts:  Mather and Pitts Insurance of Essex and East Hampton, Connecticut; Kinloch Consulting Group of Melville, New York; The Alliance Group of Red Bank, New Jersey; and SG & Associates of  Miami and Pembroke Pines, Florida.
