David Symock Joins Vermont Mutual as a Senior Marketing Representative
David J. Symock, MBA, has joined Vermont Mutual Insurance Group® as a Senior Marketing Representative. Symock brings over thirty years of claims, underwriting, and sales & marketing experience to his new role at Vermont Mutual. Concurrent with his insurance experience, Symock also rose to the rank of Captain with the United States Army Reserves.
Vermont Mutual’s Vice President of Marketing, Shaun P.T. Farley, remarked “Dave joins us with over thirty years of experience with different major carriers and a great skill set developed over that successful career.” Farley continued “He is a consummate professional and I have every confidence that Dave will have an immediate and positive impact on the relationships we enjoy with our Agency Partners.”

Mr. Symock will serve Vermont Mutual’s Connecticut and Rhode Island territories and will be based in MA.

Travelers Names G&N Insurance One of Its 2019 Agents of The Year
As it does each year, Travelers held its Personal Insurance Leadership Conference this week to celebrate the company’s top independent agents and brokers from across the country. This year, Massachusetts’ G&N Insurance were invited to attend the event held at in California to accept this year’s Agency of the Year Award.
The highlight of the annual event is the Agents of the Year Award where the company selects 19 of its top Personal Lines Independent Insurance Agents. Agents selected for this award are recognized for their high achievement in their lines of business, and in particular, for achieving long-term profitable growth for their agencies, dedication to high-quality and personalized customer service and for their commitment to working with Travelers.
Co-founder Matt Naimoli attended the event to accept the award on behalf of his co-founder Zach and the rest of the G&N Team.
In commenting about the award on his LinkedIn Page, he emphasized that the agency’s success was due to the entire agency team. ““Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.”
