Buffalo, N.Y. – January 14, 2021 –Merchants Insurance Group is pleased to announce that Clark Insurance, serving the New England states, has been named the company’s 2019 New England Regional Office’s Regional Agent of the Year.
Clark Insurance has been a partner with Merchants since 2011, but was established in 1931 in Monument Square in Portland, Maine.
The Regional Agent of the Year designation is awarded to one of Merchants’ more than 1,000 independent agencies in each of the company’s four regions. Winning
agencies are noted for achieving success through outstanding customer service, as well as supporting Merchants’ core values of integrity, respect, loyalty, teamwork and aspiring to improve.

Clark Insurance Agency is part of North American Insurance Alliance (NAIA). The agency has been a significant contributor to NAIA’s success, leading the agency group to earn Merchants Insurance Group’s President’s Club Plus status the last several years, and helping to earn them 2020 President’s Club Elite status.
Clark Insurance has been an advocate for Merchants, most recently promoting the company to their peer agencies at the NAIA Agency Partner Sales Conference.
