Union Mutual is pleased to announce the Company’s Assistant Vice President of Marketing, Alexis Burrall, was recently recognized by Vermont Business Magazine as a “Rising Star” in recognition of her contributions to the community and the Vermont economy as an outstanding young leader.

The Rising Star program recognizes 40 individuals under the age of 40 from the State of Vermont’s emerging business leaders. The individuals are chosen by a panel of judges for their commitment to business growth, professional excellence and involvement in their communities.

“Alexis is dedicated to developing employees to their fullest potential and she is steadfast in aligning personal, professional and corporate goals,” Union Mutual President & CEO Lisa Keysar said of Burrall. “Her tireless energy and forward-thinking leadership are a large part of our continued success both financially and as a Best Place to Work in Vermont.”

Burrall joined the Company in 2012 and was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Marketing in August 2020.  She has been responsible for significant changes within the department, including setting up successful large-scale incentive programs for key agency partners. Her commitment to business growth is evidenced by her innovative and creative talents in identifying efficiencies, particularly in the evolving digital landscape. Her creativity and business acumen are instrumental in driving the Company’s focus on Corporate Social Responsibility, from vendor relationships to product purchases to investment practices. She is actively involved in Company charitable initiatives including Penguin Plunge, Special Olympics VT volunteering, Point to Point challenge, and supports numerous causes important to Union Mutual’s network of employees and agents.
