Deland, Gibson Welcomes Garrick J. Towle to the Agency
Garrick J Towle

Deland, Gibson Insurance Associates, Inc. is proud to announce that on February 1st, Garrick J. Towle joined the Agency as the Director of The 1900 Club.  The 1900 Club is Deland, Gibson’s Private Client Group. Garrick will strategize with and lead our Private Client Group with the overall goal to maximize our carrier and client relationships.  While doing that, he will also advise clients on their Personal Risks to bring new business to the Agency.

“While many competitors are focusing on their Tech-Stack in 2022, we at Deland, Gibson are focusing on our “Talent-Stack,” said CEO Chip Gibson. “Insurance is still a relationship business, and Garrick is a perfect fit. Garrick joining the Agency brings institutional knowledge, strategic thinking, and energy to help us grow our capabilities in our 1900 Club, DG’s Private Client Group.”

Garrick has been in the insurance industry his entire career, with his most recent stints being with national insurance carriers, Berkley One and Chubb.  His expertise, personality, and knowledge are a fantastic asset and addition to the Agency.  His familiarity with the High-Net-Worth space will help provide valuable insight and education to the Agency and clients.

“After 20 years on the carrier side, I decided it was time to give the independent agency world a go.  As Chip mentions insurance is a relationship business and my relationship with the senior leaders of Deland, Gibson goes back many years.  It’s my privilege to join a fourth-generation firm with a strong vision for the future.  The 1900 Club and HNW market is my passion, which I look forward to developing further at DG.” – Garrick J. Towle

Ted Gibson, President of Deland, Gibson, added, “Garrick brings a wealth of knowledge to DG. His past experience with Berkley One and Chubb, specifically in the HNW market, strengthens the value we bring to our clients. Garrick is an ideal fit for DG and we couldn’t be more excited to have him on the team.”
