MONTPELIER, VT – Union Mutual Insurance Company announced that it has hired George MacKinnon to be the Company’s Vice President of Underwriting. MacKinnon starts with the Company in April.

His technical skills and analytic perspective will be a great asset to the Company.”
MacKinnon has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, working most recently at Patrons Oxford as Vice President of Underwriting. He has experience in Commercial Lines insurance, Workers Compensation, Personal Lines Insurance, Information Technology, Accounting, and Sales.
MacKinnon and his wife are relocating from Maine to Vermont and MacKinnon will be based in the Company’s Montpelier office.
