Deerfield, IL — Alera Group, a top independent national insurance and wealth services firm, announced today the appointment of three regional managing directors: Bill Brown, Gary Piantedosi, and Richard Silberstein. Working closely with Alera Group’s executive team, practice leaders and fellow regional leaders, these managing directors will help drive Alera Group’s growth activities, ultimately resulting in new opportunities for colleagues and an improved client experience.

Bill Brown has been promoted to managing director in the South-Central region overseeing growth and operations in Alabama, Arkansas, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas. Bringing 20 years of industry expertise, Brown most recently served as a managing partner within Alera Group. He has a dynamic vision regarding organic and acquisitive growth, operational efficiencies and collaboration, all of which will help Alera Group succeed in the South-Central region.

Gary Piantedosi has been named managing director in the Northeast region covering Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont. Most recently serving as a senior partner within Alera Group, Piantedosi will leverage his 30 years of experience to further integrate Alera Group’s offices and focus on the firm’s organic growth.
