Renaissance Appoints Clyde Ebanks Senior Vice President/Carrier Partnerships

May 5, 2023 by AC Editor

Renaissance Alliance has appointed Clyde Ebanks Senior Vice President of Carrier Partnerships.

In this position, Ebanks will serve as Renaissance’s executive liaison with the network’s carrier and broker partners, partnering on the further development of the group’s unique programs, insurers’ solutions, and initiatives to bring further benefit to its member agencies.

Clyde Ebanks

Ebanks has held multiple leadership roles over more than 30 years in the insurance industry. Most recently he was a member of Aon’s Broking Leadership, and before that served as CEO of Aon’s Global Client Network. Ebanks brings his experiences as a client advisor, market relationship leader, and underwriter of domestic and international property & casualty insurance to his new role.

“I’m thrilled to be joining Renaissance, a leading organization in the agency space,” said Ebanks. “There is significant opportunity to further empower the 325+ Members of Renaissance Alliance and the 100+ Markets available via the Renaissance platform to better serve their mutual clients while strengthening their relationships. I very much look forward to being part of that.”

Renaissance CEO Robert Bondi said, “Clyde’s decades of experience in cultivating carrier relationships on the brokerage side will be of immense value to our organization and to our member agencies. Empowering our members with the ability to insure a wide variety of risks is vital to their continued success.”

With more than 300 member agencies representing $4.3B in premium, Renaissance provides expanded carrier options to increase your customer close ratios and retention; reliable, consistent revenue through higher commissions, enhanced profit sharing and growth bonuses; and a suite of resources & technology tools that independent agencies need to thrive – all the while ensuring that your agency remains 100% independently owned and operated.
