EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants Partners with Bindable™ to Expand Sales Strategy

May 25, 2023 by AC Editor

The insurance brokerage is leveraging Bindable’s digital platform and proprietary agent software, Policy Crusher®, to cross-sell customers and grow through digital channels

BIndable, the InsurTech leader for alternative distribution, is pleased to announce that EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants, the California-based national retail risk management and employee benefits insurance brokerage and consulting firm, has licensed Bindable’s distribution technology platform to grow their personal lines business and strategy.

“We are always trying to think of new ways to better serve our customer base through relevant offerings, while also giving our agents the tools they need to meet the evolving needs of consumers,” said Beth Gardner, COO, National Private Client & EPIC Select at EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants. “Our technology partnership with Bindable enables our agents to efficiently retarget and cross-sell insurance products to our current customers, while also enabling us to expand our digital presence.”

Utilizing an API integration, EPIC agents will now be able to seamlessly push current customer data from their internal agency management system (AMS) to Bindable’s SaaS platform, Policy Crusher®, pre-filling data and giving the agents the ability to quickly quote and bind insurance products including ancillary offerings they wouldn’t otherwise have access to. After a series of agency acquisitions, having Policy Crusher in place also allows EPIC to unify an array of disparate systems into one selling tool for their agents.

“In order to remain competitive in today’s hardening insurance market, providers must seriously think about how they can more efficiently digitize and grow their business through preferred channels,” said Bill Suneson, co-founder & CEO of Bindable. “EPIC clearly recognizes the value in extending their digital selling capabilities through alternative distribution channels, which will ultimately provide more value to their customers while simultaneously driving more revenue for their business.”

Moving forward, EPIC will also have the ability to leverage the end-to-end capabilities of Bindable’s platform through a branded digital marketplace by using Bindable’s white-label templated front-end system. This will allow EPIC in the future to offer additional insurance products from multiple carriers not only to their current customer base, but to new leads as well via a digital experience. As new leads enter their system, EPIC’s own licensed agents will be able to efficiently respond to them in real-time, and will have access to dashboards and reporting from within Policy Crusher to track and measure program performance.
