Fred C. Church Announces Bill Burbine Promoted to Senior Vice President, Sales Leader

Fred C. Church is pleased to announce that effective July 1, 2023, Bill Burbine has been promoted to senior vice president, sales leader. In this new role, Bill will oversee the firm’s sales operation, working closely with client executives across all verticals and divisions.

Fred C. Church President and Chairman Mike Reilly says, “For the past 10 years, Bill has done an excellent job leading our Personal Lines and Private Client teams. As a senior vice president of sales, Bill will have further opportunities to help fuel our firm’s organic growth by adding Commercial Lines and Employee Benefits to his responsibilities. His strong understanding of the industry and the established relationships he has with our team will help to ensure we continue to meet and exceed our revenue goals.”

Bill’s responsibilities will also include tracking production results, overseeing recruiting efforts, mentoring new client executives, and leading the implementation of Salesforce for the company. In addition, he will be an essential participant in carrier contract negotiations and managing client marketing communications.

Regarding his new extended role, Bill says, “I am thrilled for the opportunity to lead and grow our sales operation. The team and I look forward to building upon Fred C. Church’s legacy of client-centric service, employing the best and brightest in the industry, and maintaining strong partnerships with carriers.”

Bill’s insurance career began in 2002 with Banknorth Insurance Group of Portland, Maine. In 2009, he became vice president of commercial lines sales for Turner Barker Insurance, also in Portland. When he joined Fred C. Church a decade ago, Bill was hired as a vice president and personal lines manager.
