On June 10th, 2024, Kevin Patrick Beagan officially assumed the role of Acting Commissioner of the Massachusetts Division of Insurance. He replaced Rachel M. Davison who had served as the Acting Commissioner since April of this year.

Prior to this appointment, Mr. Beagan served as the Division’s Deputy Commissioner of the Health Care Access Bureau. In this capacity, he managed the Bureau of Managed Care and Consumer Services Unit, overseeing the regulation of insured health plans, including product offerings, rate approvals, and access to coverage and benefits.
